Karen Y. Arikawa-Hu
COUNSEL
Karen Y. Arikawa-Hu concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate transactions, business organizations and energy law.
Ms. Arikawa-Hu previously worked in-house at the largest public electric utility in the State of Hawaii and has experience with utility-scale power purchase agreements, fuel sourcing and infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction, asset purchases, software licenses, and regulatory matters before the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission. Ms. Arikawa-Hu's work has also included commercial leasing, residential and commercial real estate transactions and financing, and commercial and insurance defense litigation.
Ms. Arikawa-Hu was a law clerk to The Honorable Colleen K. Hirai, Chief Judge, Circuit Court of the First Circuit in the State of Hawaii.
